I am from the Future!

I am from the future! I believe that the subject above made you frowned! True or true? What do you mean by that, Alaika? 😀

Well, actually this title comes up because of my friend’s statement. She, my dear buddy, Samahe, is living in Montreal, Canada, which is 11 hours behind my time (Indonesia time). That is why she often called me as her friend from her future time. My TODAY is her TOMORROW. Her TODAY is my YESTERDAY. Ops, don’t want to get you confused! 😉

The Chaos of Timezone Difference

And…, here is the funny thing caused by this timezone differences! I am about to start my 2 Day Free Blogging Masterclass where the participants come from worldwide. The masterclass scheduled to be run on 7th-8th April 2020 my time (Indonesia Time).

My Blogging Masterclass

And… this morning, which is 7th April 2020, 8.45 am – my time – as scheduled, I was stand by on the Zoom Room, hosting the class. But…, it was so weird since there was nobody shows up! I am a bit disappointed, of course, since all the preparation is well done, but no participants came! 😀 How can? Even my Indonesian participants!

Zoom Call

I chat my inner circle friends, to attract them to join the call. But some are working, some are offline because have to do their offline matter. The surprised are….. Ops.

My buddy, Samahe, shown up on the Zoom Call. Explained her confusing, since the email she received from me informed that the class will be hold on 7th to 8th April 2020, and why I run the Zoom Call now? This is still 6th April 2020 in Canada – her time!

Ops!!!! Taraaaaa! 😀 lol

AHA! I know exactly why the participants did not show up, it is because I am in their future time, and they are far behind my time! Oh My God! Hahaha

You know what? For me, it sounds so funny yet amazing! Thanks to technology for this spectacular connection and innovation. There are infinite possibilities open and come. Distance no more matter. Timezone differences just need to be adapted, then we can go further for more possibilities around the world!

Online world is so amazing. Especially in this hard time, in this pandemic where most of us has to stay at home, work from home, learn from home, or any kind of social distancing. To be connected online offers and open many many many positivity and opportunities, right?

Alaika on Other Zoom Call. Working from home is so interesting!

For me, the most important thing to go global is to get myself familiar with this timezone differences! Be connected and of course, keep the interaction with the people who have the same vibe and tribe.

What about you? Do you have unique experience about this timezone differences? Comment below and share your thought about this, please.

Huwaghhh… it’s so cool kak Al.. please send my regard to Samahe 😄😄
Lucu yaa kalo selisih waktunya panjang gitu. Kita tidur dia beraktifitas. Kita beraktifitas dia istirahat…

Aku salah fokus nih, gara-gara lihat latar belakang Kak Al.
